Welcome to the Hólabak Farm Website

At Hólabak Farm, traditional Icelandic farming meets creativity and a diverse range of rural activities. Quality, distinctive character and a strong connection to our surroundings are at the heart of everything we do.

The farm is home to dairy cattle and horses, while we also design and produce our own range of textiles and giftware and run a small on-site shop. In addition, the farmers at Hólabak lease the Gljúfurá river, where we sell fishing permits and manage the fishing lodge.

And then there are the things we simply enjoy doing: Breeding Icelandic Sheepdogs and growing vegetables. These are perhaps better described as personal interests than business ventures – and, like so much in Icelandic country life, they tend to depend on which way the wind is blowing.
